Michael Wolf Vice President, Government Relations
Michael Wolf joined KEPRO in August 2015 as the Vice President of Government Relations. With more than 10 years of experience in the health industry and most recently serving as the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Michael plays a crucial role in developing new government partnerships and identifying innovative ways KEPRO can better serve our clients and their members through cost-saving measures.
Michael will also oversee KEPRO’s Communications Office to better align KEPRO’s brand and to enhance two-way communication with clients and members.
Prior to joining KEPRO, Michael was appointed by Governor Tom Corbett as the Acting Secretary of Health in October 2012. He led one of the nation's leading public health agencies with a budget of more than $838 million. The department regulates hospitals, nursing homes and various other health care facilities, while supporting public health and prevention initiatives.
A Pennsylvania native, Michael previously served as the Executive Deputy Secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, where he oversaw the deputy secretaries within the department, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
Previously, Michael was Director, Worldwide Public Affairs and Policy for Pfizer, the world's largest research-based pharmaceutical company. In this role he was responsible for company relations with Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Puerto Rico’s governments, as well as relationships with state biotechnology trade associations.
Michael is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and received a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
