The Keystone Peer Review Organization, Inc. (KEPRO) released a short video describing the benefits of KEPRO Wellness, an online lifestyle management program to help improve the health of program participants and reduce client care costs. Members can access the tools and information any time, anywhere, usingmobile devices, tablets, or computers.
“With obesity and diabetes at pandemic levels, companies know that investing in the health of their population is critical,” said Donna Geringer, KEPRO Vice President, Growth and Development, Commercial Programs. “KEPRO Wellness provides useful tracking tools, interactive programs, nutrition and exercise classes, and a wealth of information to help members make lasting changes to get and stay healthy.”
The program starts a health risk assessment to identify risks and behaviors that members need to change to stay fit and healthy, or to better manage existing conditions. Biometric screenings provide a comprehensive blood analysis of 39 difference measures of a member’s health. A nurse calls each member to explain the results and recommend behavioral changes to reduce risk or better managing existing issues. Additional coaching services are also available.
Alerts encourage members to stay engaged and also provide useful tips and information to keep them on the road to good health. Members can also share their successes online and receive community support to keep them motivated.
When coupled with KEPRO's Chronic Care Management program, targeting nine of today’s largest cost drivers, client can significantly improve their bottom lines through reduced absenteeism and presenteeism. View the video today to see how KEPRO's program will deliver results for you and your members.
